Revision as of 04:12, 6 July 2011
The following weapons were used in the film Transformers: Dark of the Moon:
Glock 17
The Glock 17 features prominently in the film. Sam (Shia LeBouf) uses one during the battle in Chicago, which he is given by Epps (Tyrese Gibson). Epps also has one on a chest holster. Simmons' bodyguard Dutch uses one during a standoff with two former Russian cosmonauts in a bar, dual-wielding it with a sawn-off double-barreled shotgun. At the film's climax, Sam is held at gunpoint with one. In some scenes, the sound of a hammer being cocked is inaccurately inserted when the Glock is drawn.
Beretta 92FS INOX
A pair of Beretta 92FS INOXs are dual-wielded by Jerry Wang (Ken Jeong) in an attempt to defend himself from a Decepticon.
Walther PPK/S
During a standoff between Simmons, Dutch and two former cosmonauts, a Russian bodyguard pulls a Walther PPK/S, but is disarmed.
M4A1 Variants
A number of M4A1 style carbines are used by some of Soldiers of N.E.S.T, the US Army and Navy Seals. They are all customized with a different number of accessories. Many of the carbines used later in the film feature a wealth of Magpul furniture, including CTR stocks, MOE pistol grips, PMAGs, and angled foregrips, while those used by US forces and NEST base guards appear to have accessories from the SOPMOD kit. In one scene, Sam refers to them as "full-kit M4s".
FN EGLM
A black stand alone version of the FN EGLM is seen being carried by a N.E.S.T soldier.
Remington ACR
The Remington ACR is seen in the hands of Major Will Lennox (Josh Duhamel), as well as other N.E.S.T soldiers with a scope, laser and custom barrel shroud which might or might not supposed to be a flash suppressor. Like Epps' M4, Lennox's ACR also uses Magpul Pmags. Though the shots are not very clear, some rifles seen used by NEST extras appear to feature the stock pattern and overall profile of the "Entry Carbine" variant of the ACR, or possibly the Magpul Masada.
Note: This is the first movie where the ACR has been shown in numbers as well as a bunch of other Magpul products like the BUIS (Back UP Iron Sights), CTR stock, the Pmags of both 5.56mm and 7.62mm and the AFG (Angled ForeGrip). This is also the ACR's first appearance with this specific longer barrel and railed fore end.
