Killer Elite is an upcoming 2011 thriller starring Jason Statham as a member of the British Special Air Service who has to take on numerous assassins in order to rescue his mentor. The film co-stars Clive Owen, Yvonne Strahovski, Dominic Purcell, and Robert De Niro. Despite the similar name, this film is not a remake of the 1975 Sam Peckinpah film The Killer Elite. It is based on the novel "The Feather Men" (1991) by Sir Ranulph Fiennes.
