The following weapons were used in the film L.A. Story:
Ruger GP100
When Harris K. Telemacher (Steve Martin) is told that it's the first day of Spring, he realizes that it's open season on the L.A. Freeway and proceeds to pull out a Ruger GP100 from his glove compartment. His girlfriend Trudi (Marilu Henner) is seen loading it and Harris then exchanges gunfire with other drivers.
Colt Python
A female driver is seen pulling a snub nickel Colt Python to fire at Harris' car.
12 Gauge Double Barrel
A water truck driver pulls his 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun when Harris drives into his lane.
