Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following weapons appear in the video game Mercenaries 2: World in Flames:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P226
Pistol used by all factions. A suppressed variant is also available. Barrel looks like a .45, but the 15 rd. mag is like a P226. The suppressed version appears to be either a P-228 or P-229 as it has a twelve round magazine capacity.
Desert Eagle
Seen in the hands of some Jamaican Pirates. Incorrectly holds 15 rounds and, strangely, its performance is identical to the P226's.
Luger P08 Artillery
Used by General Carmona in several cutscenes. Not usable by the player.
Smith & Wesson Model 500
Carried by Blanco. Can be obtained by the player by killing Blanco. Also can be obtained by players in "Blanco's Favorites" supply drop with cheats. Very powerful, often a one hit kill.
Submachine guns
Ingram MAC-10
One of the submachine guns used by the Pirate faction in the game. 45 round magazine and high rate of fire.
IMI Micro Uzi
One of the submachine guns used by the Pirate faction in the game, also used by some VZ HVTs. Identical to the MAC-10 save for it's appearance.
PP-2000
A Russian PDW, with good stopping power, can be obtained by the player by completing Level 2 of one of Fiona's challenges at the PMC. Can be found under "Fiona's Favorites" in the supply drop list.
Chang Feng CF-05
An early version of the Chang Feng SMG is carried by Chinese sailors and officers, as well as tank drivers and rocket carrying troops.
Heckler & Koch MP5SD3
Is one of the many purchasable Supply Drops in the game (Known as "Covert Kit")
Assault Rifles
M4A1 Carbine
Standard issue weapon of the Universal Petroleum mercenaries and can be seen being carried by Allied Nations medics (near the helipad at the Allied HQ). Lacks a rear sight, called "Carbine" in-game.
Heckler & Koch XM8
Standard issue weapon of the Allied Nations faction in the game. Known as "Combat Rifle". The rifle has a 40 round magazine in game, despite only having 30 round capacity in reality.
Norinco QBZ-95
Standard issue weapon of the Chinese faction. Fires the 5.8x42mm round, has a capacity of 30 rounds. Called simply "Bullpup Rifle" in game.
AKM
Standard issue weapon of the People's Liberation Army of Venezuela faction, and also it can be seen being used by the Pirate faction.
AK-103
Used by the Venezuelan military (VZ) faction. In real life, the Venezuelan Army uses the AK-103. Slightly more accurate than the AKM but that the player holds less extra ammo for it.
Machine Guns
FN Minimi
Used by UP mercenaries and AN soldiers. Only holds 100 rounds despite being fitted with the 200 round belt box.
RPK
Used by PLAV and VZ factions. Fitted with 75 round drum.
QJY-88
Used by the PLA. Has exactly the same stats as the RPK, but a glitch allows it to shoot a virtually straight stream of bullets, giving it amazing accuracy.
M60D
M60 with "Spade" grips. Seen mounted on PLAV and Pirate vehicles and ships. Strangely, performs and sounds like the M2 heavy machine gun.
Browning M2
Seen mounted on Allied, UP, Pirate and PLAV vehicles.
DShK
Seen mounted on VZ and Chinese vehicles and boats, as well as carried by VZ troops in the opening cutscene.
GE M134 Minigun
Mounted on the "Rogue Assassin" helicopter, as the gunner's weapon on the "Diplomat Heavy Tank" and on other vehicles.
General Dynamics M197 Vulcan
Mounted on The "Vulcan 4x4", "Ambassador Gunship" the "Warsong Attack Helicopter" and on other vehicles.
Sniper Rifles
SVD Dragunov
Used by the PLAV, VZ forces and UP mercenaries. A glitch in the game occasionally makes the player hold it like a pistol, or vice-versa.
Barrett M95
Available through the .50 Cal Anti-Material Rifle Kit from the AN.
KSVK
Available through the 12.7mm Anti-Material Rifle Kit from the PLA. Statistically identical to the Barrett M95.
QBU-88
Used by the PLA in game. Statistically identical to the SVD.
Shotguns
Benelli M4 Super 90
Used by Pirates and the PLAV, and also can be seen being used by VZ officers. Can be purchased via "CQB Kit". A pumping sound is heard between shots, even though no pumping animation occurs.
Launchers
Milkor M32 MGL
A grenade launcher seen in the hands of UP Mercenaries and attained via the "Grenade Launcher Drop".
RPG-7
Used by the PLAV, VZ, UP and the Pirate faction, this is a simple rocket launcher that can be purchased in the "RPG Drop"
Mk 153 Mod 0 SMAW
Known as the "Anti-Tank Launcher". Used by Allied troops.
PF-97
Chinese copy of the RPO-A thermobaric rocket launcher. Known as the "Fuel-Air RPG" and used by PLA troops. Possibly the most powerful rocket-launcher in the game. Capable of destroying most buildings and all tanks with one hit.
FIM-92A Stinger
Another weapon that is used by all factions. Known as the "Anti-Air Launcher".
Mk 19 grenade launcher
Seen mounted on the UP "Warhorse Patrol Boat" and "Raven GL".
Other

A mounted semi-automatic cannon. Seen around numerous faction sandbags and bunkers.
M61 Frag Grenade
Used by all factions, the player can hold 9 grenades in total.
