Revision as of 02:01, 9 July 2011
The following weapons were used in the television series City Hunter (SBS):
Pistols
Beretta 92FS
In Episode 1, Lee Jin-Pyo (Kim Sang-Jung) and Park Mu-Yeol (Park Sang-Min) are armed with the 92FS during their time as Presidential Security Service bodyguards in Myanmar after an assassination attempt in 1983. In Episode 3, Lee Yun-Seong (Lee Min-Ho) is armed with the 92FS when he confronts the corrupt politician Lee Kyung Wan. However, this pistol does not fire live bullets as Lee had modified the sidearm offscreen to fire tranquilizer darts. Used by a PSS agent in Episode 7 before Min-Ho disarms him. Jin-Pyo uses this in Episode 5 after his assassination attempt had failed.
Beretta 92FS Inox
In Episode 1, Jin-Pyo uses the 92FS Inox as his main sidearm after conducting his self-exile from South Korea to Thailand over the failure of the black ops mission to North Korea.
Colt M1911A1
Used by a young Yun-Seong during target practice in Thailand. Also used by an adult Yun-Seong to save his surrogate mother from being executed by shooting fruits dangling near her.
Revolvers
Colt Python
Shin Eun-Ah uses a 4" Colt Python in the PSS shooting range as her main weapon.
Smith & Wesson Model 36 "Chiefs Special"
Jin-Pyo uses this in Episode 4 under his police officer disguise after he covertly took the Model 36 from a holster of a police officer driving the bus.
Unknown Revolver
Used by Kim Na-Na (Park Min-Young) as her main sidearm with the PSS. First seen in episodes 7 and 8.
Assault Rifles
M16-based Rifle
Myanmar soldiers in honor guard duty are armed with the M16 in the 1st episode. This may be an error as the Myanmar Army were not armed with the M16 and instead, had G3 rifles as their main rifle. In the same episode, an Underwater Demolitions Unit (An ROK Navy black ops unit) commando snipes the black ops soldiers under orders from an ROK submarine. Jin-Pyo uses one to try and assassinate an ex-ROK officer turned politician.
AK-47
Used by some narcogunmen after firing at Yun-Seong's room. Used by Jin-Pyo and Mu-Yeol as part of their Korean People's Army disguise after infiltrating North Korea by sea.
AKS-47
Used by gunmen under Jin-Pyo. Also used by narcogunmen under the drug smuggler.
AKMSU
Only used by a narcogunman before he was shot in the back of the head by Jin-Pyo.
M16A1
Used by Jin-Pyo's henchmen in the 1st episode. Most likely Vietnam War-based surplus. Also used by narcogunmen working under a local drug smuggler.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5
Gunmen working for Jin-Pyo in Thailand are armed with the MP5. It's not clear if it's the A3 or the A5 version since the fire selector is not shown clearly.
Heckler & Koch MPA3
Used by South Korean SWAT officers after responding to the Seoul Intercontinental Hotel shooting attempt. Some have PDW stocks on them.
Shotguns
Remington 870
Seen in the hands of some narcogunmen. Yun-Seong takes one and hunts them down after his surrogate mother was shot in front of him.
