The following weapons appear in the film Brazil:
MGC Replica CAR-15 Rifle
In many scenes, the stormtroopers of the Ministry of Information Retrieval use MGC CAR-15 replica rifles.
Sterling SMG
Can be seen demonstrated amongst an M.O.I. weapons display but not fired in the movie.
Colt M1911
A guard points a replica theatrical blank only firing Bruni Automatic 8mm Pistol (impersonating an M1911) at the face of Sam Lowry (Jonathan Pryce) when they ask for his invitation to his mother, Ida Lowery's, party. Usually replica guns which can never fire blanks out of the front of the barrel are used when either pointed at child actors or held close to an actor's face (usually for safety and the comfort of the actor).
Walther P38
As used by Harry Tuttle (Robert De Niro) throughout the movie.
Franchi SPAS-12 Shotgun
Used by the M.O.I. guards and Sam Lowry in the end.
Browning M2HB Heavy Machine Gun
A tripod-mounted Browning M2HB heavy machine gun can be seen in an M.O.I. weapons display.
AK-47
An AK-47 can be seen used by one of Robert DeNiro's freedom fighters.
MG42 Machine Gun
An MG42 is seen mounted on the turret of the M.O.I. SWAT vehicles during the chase scene.
