Pearl Grip 1911

It's an m1911 see picture below, you can see the beavertail grips? The gold symbol on the pearl grips could mean its a Colt MK IV Series 70/80? http://trailers.apple.com//705/us/media/galleries/sony_pictures/theotherguys/DF-06887_720.jpg Yeah, In those pre-production shots, I thought Highsmith had a Nickel Revolver, I thought a King Cobra.

It's very clear in the Linked Image, that it's a 1911 and not a Browning High-Power.

They appear to be pearl grips from the still, but have a look at this. --Polk 11:21, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Three Desert Eagles and a... SIG?

Looks like a P220 Sport, but the Comp has a rail attached to the bottom. And if anyone says it's not a .45, look at the barrel size... I guess those are .357 Desert Eagles then...

Other Weapons

I just saw the movie, I noticed that there was a Daewoo K3. It could possibly be a M249 or Minimi, I'm guessing the Daewoo based on how common the K3 is and how minor the part it is used.

There was also possibly a USAS 12 shotgun with a scope... -Ranger01 06:24, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

The Daewoo K3 is only common in movies filmed in British Columbia, Canada, because Felcan Enterprises (the major film armory located in that neck of the woods) only seems to have K3s in inventory and uses them as M249 stand-ins. The Other Guys was not filmed in British Columbia (it was filmed entirely on location in New York City), and American armorers have lots of real Minimi/M249s. -MT2008 09:37, 10 May 2011 (CDT)

SIG 556 Classic

At least one of the helicopter shooters at the end uses a SIG 556 Classic.

Oh the irony

After the captain takes Gamble's Glock saying he'll get it back when he learns to handle it properly his finger is on the trigger and Ferrell has good finger safety throughout the film.--FIVETWOSEVEN 04:14, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Desert Eagles

Used .357s Desert Eagles Can be easily had for under 1000 dollars... The rest of the posters opinion is irrelevant and unnecessary. Will Ferrells comment is accurate enough for casual conversation. --Furious Oyster
