Salt is a 2010 action film directed by Philip Noyce (Clear and Present Danger) and starring Angelina Jolie as Evelyn Salt, a CIA agent who finds herself being accused of being a Russian sleeper agent. She finds herself questioning her loyalties as she goes on the run to clear her name.
The following weapons were used in the film Salt:
WARNING! MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P229
Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) uses a SIG-Sauer P229 notably at the President’s Emergency Operations Center (PEOC), when she confronts CIA Agent Ted Winter (Liev Schreiber). The 229 is used by both Winters and Agent Peabody (Chiwetel Ejiofor) as well.
TRIVIA: During the filming of the final battle sequence between Salt and Winter, Ms. Jolie sustained a minor injury on the set and had to be rushed to the hospital. The crew continued filming POV shots until she returned. The on set armorer stood in for Ms. Jolie in several shots to help Liev Shrieber establish a realistic line of sight and also fired the Sig 229 in an additional scene where the gun had to be fired to create a muzzle flash at the edge of the camera frame (see the sales page for the screen used SIG 229, here.)
Beretta 92F
Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) uses a Beretta 92F pistol in the pivotal sequence aboard the Russian barge when Salt meets with Orlov (Daniel Olbrychski) and his group of Russian “K-A Program” agents. (see the sales page for the actual screen used Beretta 92F, here).
Glock 19
A Glock pistol is seen in the holster of an Army MP during the prisoner release in North Korea. Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) carries a Glock 19 pistol throughout the film, notably when underneath St. Bart’s cathedral in New York to shoot the cathedral organ. A Glock 19 is also used by Shnaider (Corey Stoll) during the attack at the White House. (see the sales page for the actual screen used Glock 19, here.)
SIG-Sauer P232
Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) uses a SIG-Sauer P232 pistol in multiple scenes throughout the film, and the gun first appears onscreen when she returns home and retrieves it from its hiding place underneath a table in her apartment before using it in the extended freeway chase sequence near the beginning of the film. The gun appears again on the bed of her hotel room when she colors her hair to change her appearance, and also during the sequence that takes place in the crypt underneath St. Bart’s cathedral in New York when Evelyn goes after the President of Russia. Scenes from the sequence are also featured in two of the official studio trailers for the film. (see the sales page for the actual screen used SIG 232, here.)
Smith & Wesson M&P Compact
Evelyn A. Salt (Angelina Jolie) removes a Smith & Wesson M&P Compact in her hotel room along with the SIG-Sauer P232 handgun from her apartment. It is also used in the extended cut to kill Orlov.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500 Homeland Defender
The CIA security officer (Peter Weireter) uses a Mossberg 500 Homeland Defender shotgun fitted with a door breacher and pistol grip to blow open the lock on Salt's apartment door.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
A CIA officer is seen with a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 fitted with Surefire 628 dedicated forend weaponlight during the assault on Salt's apartment. Some NYPD ESU officers are also seen with these. Salt also uses an MP5A3 (with no Surefire grip) when aboard the Russian barge when Salt meets with the Orlov (Daniel Olbrychski) and his group of Russian “Program K-A” agents.
MP-10
The MP-10 with stocks are seen in the hands of CIA security officers notably when going to Salt's apartment and when Salt is trapped briefly before she jumps onto a truck.
Heckler & Koch MP5K/SP89
Secret Service agents at the White House are armed with Heckler & Koch MP5K submachine guns during the attack on the White House. Ted Winter (Liev Schreiber) uses an Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW while inside the President’s Emergency Operations Center (PEOC). At one point, Winter throws away a replica version of an Heckler & Koch SP89 while in the EEOC.
Rifles
M4A1 Carbine
There are multiple different loadouts of M4 Carbines seen throughout the film in the hands of U.S Army soldiers, CIA agents and NYPD ESU teams.
Colt Model 933
Several CIA tactical unit members can be seen with Colt Model 933s, distinguished from the aforementioned M4A1s by their shorter barrels. Secret Service CAT members are also seen using M933s at the VP's funeral.
Heckler & Koch G36C
One of the guards aboard the Russian barge while killing Michael.
AK-74M
A guard at the Russian boat base is seen with an AK-74M when Salt arrives with Vassily Orlov (Daniel Olbrychski).
Norinco Type 56
At least one Russian on the boat has a AK-type weapon with an underfolding stock, most likely a Norinco Type 56.
AK-47
Soviet troops in some Cold War footage are seen training with AK-47s.
SIG SG 552
Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) uses a SIG SG 552 with a RIS handguard in the climactic sequence that takes place beneath the White House in and around the “President’s Emergency Operations Center” (PEOC). Salt uses the weapon with both folded and extended stock positions in several scenes.
Other

M67 hand grenade
Salt is seen dropping what appears to be M67 hand grenades in the trailer.
