Animal Kingdom is a 2010 crime drama set in Melbourne. Loosely based on the real-life story of the Pettingill family and the Walsh Street Shootings in which two police officers were murdered, Animal Kingdom is about 17 year old Joshua 'J' Cody (James Frecheville) who finds himself living with his grandmother 'Smurf' and her sons when his mother dies after overdosing on heroin, and is caught in the middle when tensions between the Cody family and the police explode.

The following weapons can be seen in the film Animal Kingdom:

Smith & Wesson Model 10

The standard issue weapon of the Victoria Police Force, the Smith & Wesson Model 10, is used by numerous Police Officers during the film. Apparently in the real Walsh Street shootings, one of the murdered police officers was reportedly executed with his own Model 10. The Model 10 has since been replaced in service by the Smith & Wesson M&P.
