East West 101 is a critically acclaimed and award winning Australian drama series airing on the SBS network. The series is set around the Major Crime Squad in metropolitan Sydney, Australia.
The following guns were used in the first series of East West 101:
Hand Guns
Glock 22
The Glock 22 is the standard NSW Police Force issue sidearm and used by the cast during the series.
Taurus PT92AFS
A Taurus PT92AFS is used by a gunman during a drive-by shooting in Episode 3 - Islander Sacrifice.
Norinco Type 54
Used by a robber in the very first episode of series one in a flashback scene where Detective Zane Malik recalls his father being shot.
Glock 23/27
Carried by plain clothes officers and detectives throughout the series.
SIG-Sauer P226
Used by a criminal in episode 8 "A Progical Fear".
Beretta 92FS

At least two M16A2 'style' rifles are carried by tactical officers with one having an unknown scope fitted atop the carrying handle. A similar looking rifle is also seized by police in episode 10 "Ice in the Veins". Possibly an M16A1 with A2 style hardguards. Putting the distinctive A2 handguards on the older rifle was a method used by Movie/TV armorers to simulate A2 rifles when M16A1s were the only ones available.
Norinco Type 56
Seized by police in episode 10 "Ice in the Veins".
Zastava M70
It appears that both the Zastava M70AB2 folding stock rifle and M70B1 (fixed) stock are used to represent "AK-47's" during episode 1 of series 3 during "The Heist".
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Heckler & Koch MP5A3's are used by TOU officers.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
Heckler & Koch MP5A2's also are used by TOU officers.

An unknown double-barrell shotgun is used by 'Talal' towards the end of The Enemy Within during a standoff with Police.
Both the Remington 870 and the Benelli M3 Super 90 are used by members of the Tactical Operations Unit in episode 1 during the raid on two premises.
