Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
This page is for the 2010 video game. For the first game in the franchise, see Medal of Honor (1999).
Medal of Honor (2010) is a video game developed by EALA (sigleplayer), DICE (mutiplayer), and published by Electronic Arts for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms. The game's storyline is set in the year 2002 during the first stages of the ongoing War in Afghanistan, where the player is controlling various characters of the U.S. Military's special operations units, called "Tier 1 Operators". The characters included are Chief Petty Officer "Rabbit" of AFO Neptune, assigned to DEVGRU, Specialist Dante Adams, assigned to the 1 Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, "Dusty" of AFO Wolfpack, assigned to the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta, and Captain Brad "Hawk" Hawking, an Army AH-64 Apache gunner callsign "Gunfighter 0-6", assigned to the 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Aviation Regiment.
The following weapons appear in the video game Medal of Honor (2010):
Pistols
SIG-Sauer P226R
The SIG-Sauer P226R is Rabbit´s signature pistol. Its 9mm rounds are fed from Mec-Gar's 18-round flush fit magazines, giving it an 18+1 maximum capacity.
Glock 17
A Glock 17 with a tan frame is Deuce's signature sidearm. 15+1 magazine capacity. While modeled after the Glock 17, the magazine capacity is that of a Glock 19, a weapon commonly carried by AFO personnel.
Beretta M9
The M9 is the standard Coalition sidearm. In multiplayer it has the same (incorrect) 12 round magazine capacity featured in ''Battlefield: Bad Company 2''. In the single-player campaign, this is Dante Adams' signature sidearm, where it has a regular 15+1 magazine capacity. The sound of the Beretta 92 in-game is the same as ''Medal of Honor: Airborne''.
Singleplayer
Multiplayer
Izhmech MP-443 Grach
The MP-443 is the standard Taliban sidarm. Like the M9, it has a 12 round magazine capacity. Appears as the "Tariq", which is, in reality, an Iraqi clone of the Beretta M951.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP7A1
The MP7A1 is an unlockable weapon for Spec Ops troopers regardless of their faction. Seen with the stock extended and foregrip down, but oddly uses the pistol sights when no optic is attached. Its attachments are an EOTech or ACOG regardless of the player's faction. It is also used by Deuce and Dusty during the Wolfpack missions.
Singleplayer
Multiplayer
FN P90TR
The P90TR appears only in the multiplayer. Available to both factions.
Assault Rifles
FN F2000 Tactical
FN F2000 can be seen in a multiplayer gameplay video, with attached grenade launcher, from GamesCom 2010 in Germany, and in the recently released 'Fallen Angel' trailer.
Heckler & Koch G3
The G3A3 can be seen in hands of Taliban fighters in SP, while the G3A4 is an unlockable weapon in multiplayer. Since Afghanistan shares a huge territorial borderline with Pakistan, it makes perfect sense some Pakistani Army G3's to have fallen to Taliban hands.
Singleplayer
Multiplayer
Colt M16A4
The M16A4 appears in the first multiplayer trailer, incorrectly firing on full-automatic. Standard weapon for Coalition Riflemen in multiplayer. The M16A4 in the time of the game (2002) is inaccurate, as the M16A4 entered service in 2004.
Colt M4A1 Carbine
The M4A1 carbine is the main weapon for the Tier 1 Operators and the Army Rangers in-game. The weapons appear to be fitted with EOTech 556 Holographic sights, AN/PEQ-2 laser designators, KAC QDSS-NT4 suppressors, RIS foregrip, and SureFire Universal WeaponLight. In multiplayer, the M4A1 is the standard weapon for the Coalition Special Ops class.
Singleplayer
There are two M4 variants featured in the single-player. The first is the full-length M4A1 Carbine, seen wielded by Army Rangers and Tier 1 Operatives.
Multiplayer
CQB-R / Mk. 18 Mod 0
The second of two M4 variants featured in single-player. The Mark 18 Mod 0 carbine, called "M4 CQB-R" in-game, RIS foregrip. It is only seen used by Tier 1 Operators in the first level.
Izhmash AK-47 and variants
The AK-47, will be seen, as in most modern war video games, in the hands of the enemy of the Tier 1 Operators. It is very briefly seen twice in the world premiere trailer. Standard weapon for Taliban Riflemen in multiplayer.
Single player
The AKs in single player can be composed of parts from other AKs used by former Eastern Bloc countries, including East Germany. The hand-guard, stock, and even the magazine's material can vary from weapon to weapon.
Multiplayer
Izhmash AKS-74U/PA md. 86
The compact carbine version of the AK-74 can be seen in the MP trailer with the the foregrip of an PA md. 86. Standard weapon for the Taliban Special Ops class.
Singleplayer
Multiplayer
Mk. 14 Mod 0 Enhanced Battle Rifle
The Mk. 14 EBR was first seen in the hands of a U.S. Army Ranger in the "Leave a Message" trailer, and in some single-player footage. Capable of Semi-Auto and Full Auto fire modes, with full auto being extremely effective in certain points.
Machine Guns
Mk. 46 Mod 0
The Mk. 46 Mod 0 is seen with an EOTech sight in trailers and promotional screenshots, and with the M145 MG optic in actual gameplay. It appears as the "M249". Alternate unlockable weapon for the Coalition Rifleman class.
Singleplayer
Multiplayer
Kalashnikov PKM
The PKM can be seen in the extended trailer mounted on a technical. Alternate unlockable weapon for the Taliban Rifleman class.
Singleplayer
Multiplayer
Kalashnikov RPK
The Kalashnikov RPK has been seen in multiplayer.
FN M240
The M240 has been seen on the killfeed and in 'The Catalyst' trailer.
M60E4
The M60E4 has also been seen on the killfeed and in the Limited Edition trailer. Weapon of choice for Tier 1 Operator Voodoo, who let's Rabbit use his weapon after Voodoo dislocates a shoulder from a fall, and trades the M60 for Rabbit's M4A1 to continue fighting.
Singleplayer
Multiplayer
Shotguns
Remington 870
The 870 MCS is an alternate unlockable weapon for the Coalition Special Ops class. Single-player version of this weapon features a shorter barrel and magazine tube (5+1 rather than 8), a Crane stock, and a VERY fast rate of fire for a pump-action shotgun.
Single-Player
Multiplayer
Tula Arms TOZ-194
The TOZ-194 is an alternate unlockable weapon for the Taliban Special Ops class.
Benelli M1014
The M1014 has been spotted in a gameplay video from TGS. When reloading from empty, Adams will load the first shell directly into the chamber and then release the bolt handle. The remaining rounds are then quickly loaded via the loading port.
Sniper Rifles
M21
The M21 is the standard weapon for Coalition Snipers. The modeled 20-round magazine is restricted to 10 rounds to balance it out with the NDM-86.
Norinco NDM-86
The .308 Winchester variant of the NDM-86 appears as the SVD. It is the standard weapon for Taliban Snipers.
SVD Dragunov
A genuine SVD Dragunov appears in the single-player campaign, with its trademark PSO-1 scope.
M24
The M24 is available as an unlock for Coalition Snipers.
Izhmash SV-98
The SV-98 is available as an unlock for Taliban Snipers. Its 10-round magazine is pinned to hold just 5 rounds to balance it with the M24.
Barret M107
The Barrett M107 is seen in the Friends from Afar trailer and is used by Deuce in both Wolfpack missions. The Barrett used AN/PAS-13b Weapon Thermal Sight instead of a regular scope.
M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System/SR-25
The M110 SASS/SR-25 can also be seen in the Friends from Afar trailer and is used by both Dusty and Deuce in both Wolfpack missions. Because the game takes place between 2001-2002 and the M110 SASS was produced from 2008 onward, this is supposed to be the SR-25 (only with tan paint scheme).
Heavy Weapons
Degtyarev Kord
The Kord is used by the Taliban as an emplaced weapon.
GE M134 Minigun
The GE M134 Minigun makes a brief appearance during the single-player campaign.
Launchers
Saab M136 AT4
The M136 AT4 is the default special weapon for the Coalition Special Ops class.
Bazalt RPG-7
The RPG-7 is the default special weapon for the Taliban Special Ops class.
M203 grenade launcher
The M203 grenade launcher is mounted on Dante Adams' M4 in the final level of SP, on the M16A4 in MP, and can also be seen on M4s in the hands of NPC Rangers at the start of both Belly of the Beast and the final SP level.
KBP GP-25
The GP-25 is mounted on the AK-47.
FN GL1
A variant of the FN EGLM dubbed the GL1 is mounted on the FN F2000.
Explosives
C4
Standard special weapon for Coalition Snipers.
Improvised Explosive Device
Standard special weapon for Taliban Snipers. It is made of two mortars taped together with a cellphone and is detonated via a another cellphone.
