Sgt. Bilko is a 1996 military comedy directed by Jonathan Lynn as starring Steve Martin as Master Sergeant Ernest G. Bilko, head of the Motor Pool at the Fort Baxter US Army base and the leader of a band of misfit soldiers. The movie is based on The Phil Silvers Show, from which it takes its setting, back plot and characters.
The following weapons were used in the film Sgt. Bilko:
Colt M1911
A M1911 can be seen briefly on a drawing in the motorpool office.
Beretta 92
The Beretta 92, identifiable by the rounded trigger guard, can be seen briefly right below the M1911.
M16A2
Used by all United States Army soldiers in the film. In a memorable scene, Pfc. Sam Fender (Brian Leckner) accidentally fires off an already chambered round from his M16A2 during inspection in front of Major Thorn (Phil Hartman).
M60
An M60 can be seen mounted on top of the turret of the hover tank.
