The Night Stalker is a 1972 Television movie starring Darren McGavin as Carl Kolchak, a Las Vegas journalist who follows a story about a brutal serial killer, only to discover that the reports are starting to sound more and more like a vampire in modern day society.

Many of the Las Vegas police officers carry standard Colt Official Police revolvers.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Warren Butcher (Claude Akins) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 36. Kolchak picks it up to fire at Janos Skorzeny (Barry Atwater), with no effect.
Ithaca 37
An officer is briefly seen firing at Skorzeny with an Ithaca 37 shotgun.
