The Manchurian Candidate is the 2004 remake of John Frankenheimer's classic political thriller of the same name. Like in the original, the plot centers around a decorated Army soldier who is part of a powerful political family and the possibility that he may have been brainwashed during his time in the Gulf War.

Marco is seen taking out an enemy combatant who was about to fire an M72 LAW.
AKM
What appear to be AKM rifles are seen used by enemy combatants that engage Marco and the lost platoon.
Heckler & Koch MP5
The Heckler & Koch MP5 is seen in the hands of the men riding in the helicopter that tosses gas grenades onto Marco's position during the ambush.
