Too Late the Hero is a World War II drama filmed in 1970 about two reluctant heroes desperate to survive starring Michael Caine and Cliff Robertson as British commandos sent on a suicide mission to thwart the Japanese communications system. When the two soldiers make a discovery that could change the course of the war, they must decide whether to save themselves or become the heroes they never wanted to be.
