M16A1s are carried by American troops throughout the film.
M60 machine gun
M60 machine gun is seen on Navy PBR's as well as in Army guard towers.
M60D
M60D machine guns are mounted on the Marine Huey that picks up Adrian Cronauer (Robin Williams).
Browning M2HB
Browning M2HBs are single and double hand mounted on the Navy PBR in the film.
M1911A1
An M1911A1 is seen drawn by an American MP when a restaurant is blown up.
M79 grenade launcher
An M79 grenade launcher is briefly seen in the hands of a soldier riding on Navy boat.
Norinco Type 56
VC are seen carrying Norinco Type 56 assault rifles as they search for Cronauer in the jungle.
