L.A. Noire is a detective game based in the 1940's-50's developed by Rockstar games and Team Bondi
Pistols
M1911
The M1911 appears to be the main sidearm for the game, featured in multiple promotional screens. While it is fairly unusual for a semiautomatic pistol to be used by a police officer, especially a detective, it can be assumed that the main character has kept his sidearm from WWII.
Browning Hi-Power
A Browning Hi-Power can be seen in a screenshot.
FN Model 1922
Revolvers
Colt Detective Special
The Colt Detective Special is seen in a video and other promotional material.
Smith & Wesson Model 27
An engraved, snubnose Smith & Wesson Model 27 is seen in other pictures.
Shotguns
Ithaca 37
Also seen in promotional videos is the Ithaca 37 Shotgun.
Rifles
Browning Automatic Rifle
Cole can be seen hefting a BAR in a GameInformer promotional image.
