"Any Beretta marked 950B Only was imported into the U.S. before 1968."
I've got a Brazilian made 950B (not BS) with no thumb safety, but the Brazilian Beretta factory didn't open until 1974 when they started making the 92's for the Brazilian government. Interestingly the Brazilian ones say cal 6.35 on the side of the slide instead of 25ACP like the later US made ones. Did the import laws not apply to Brazil or did someone just carry it across the border and sell it illegally decades ago and no one noticed.
