The following weapons were used in the film Trainspotting:
Westlake .22
After Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) quits heroin, he and Simon "Sick Boy" Williamson (Johnny Lee Miller) (who has also quit heroin just to annoy him) go to a park armed with a Westlake .22 Air Rifle fitted with a scope, which they both take turns handling. Renton ultimately uses it to shoot a skinhead's Bull Terrier in the testicles, causing it to attack its owner.
Colt Official Police
When Francis "Franco" Begbie (Robert Carlyle) arrives at Renton's flat after robbing a jewelry store, he shows off a replica of a Colt Official Police, firing it at his head to prove his point.
Smith & Wesson Model 29
When Renton and his friends are at the Volcano nightclub, a painting of Travis Bickle (from Taxi Driver) is seen behind him, armed with a Smith & Wesson Model 29 in one hand.
Astra Constable
The other pistol in the Travis Bickle painting is a Astra Constable.
