The following weapons can be seen in the upcoming sci-fi FPS shooter Crysis 2:
WORK IN PROGRESS
Handgun
Hammer Pistol
The Hammer pistol is seen being chambered by a C.E.L.L. soldier in a beta footage. It appears to be based on the Beretta 92FSand features a strike plate on the front of the slide.
Assault Rifle
SCAR
The weapon used by the protagonist Alcatraz and much of your allies heavily resembles a Heckler & Koch XM8 chambered in 6.8x43mm like the previous game Crysis. As in the Crysis world, it appears as if the weapon won the SOCOM SCAR competition.
Grendel assault rifle
Seen in the CryEngine 3 trailer is what appears to be the Grendal assault rifle. Though not much is given about this weapon, the assault rifle resembles the Bushmaster ACR, though the Crysis 2 assault rifle fires in bursts.
Submachine Gun
Feline SMG
Feline SMG, a bullpup SMG with a 60 (+1) round magazine. It is very similar to the real life assault rifle FN F2000 Tactical.
K-Volt electric gun
The player Alcatraz is seen firing a K-Volt electric gun at an alien Ceph unit in "Be The Weapon" trailer. Appears to be a TDI Vector with a near-complete tan finish and lack of a magazine.
Shotgun
Jackal shotgun
Jackal shotgun, a semi-automatic shotgun with a 7 (+1) round box magazine. looks like a Hawk Semi-Auto Tactical shotgun or Valtro PM5.
Sniper Rifle
DSG-1
The DSG-1 is a 10-round bolt-action precision rifle that appears in the beta multiplayer footage. As the name implies, it is based on the DSR-1 and has the similar 10-round magazine and stock of the Heckler & Koch PSG-1. Its appearance looks much different than in Crysis, featuring a shorter stock, a slightly shorter handguard and top rail, and a longer barrel.
Machine Guns
20mm Korean machine gun
The 20mm machine gun from Crysis Warhead returns and features the same characteristics as in the previous game though this game now lets you use it as a man-portable machine gun.
Mk. 60
Seen in the "Limited Edition" trailer is an M60E3 under the name "Mk. 60".
GE M134 Minigun
A door-mounted GE M134 Minigun with a longer barrel is seen on a helicopter in "The Wall" trailer.
Explosives
L-TAG grenade launcher
In the "Be The Weapon" trailer, Alcatraz is seen firing the L-TAG grenade launcher, which is pretty much an M79 grenade launcher modified to hold 6 grenade shells.
M112 C4 explosive pack
M112 C4s appear as demolition charges that can be remotely detonated. The C4 pack in-game is actually a bundle of three M112 explosive packs taped together with duct tape.
JAW rocket launcher
In the "Central Station" level, the player is seen using the JAW rocket launcher to shoot down a Ceph alien unit. It's appearance and function indicates that it may be based on the M136 AT4.
Grenades
Frag grenade
A fictional frag grenade with textures similar to the WWII-era Mk. 2 hand grenade is seen in the CryEngine 3 trailer.
