Going Back is a 2001 made for TV movie starring Casper Van Dien as Capt. Ramsey, the former Marine C.O of Echo Company. Years after the war, Ramsey and several of his former Marines return to Vietnam to film a TV documentary about their reunion, but tensions are high, as the men of E Company blame Ramsey for a friendly fire incident that resulted in the deaths of several Marines. The main weapon used by the Marines of Echo Company, including Capt. Ramsey (Casper Van Dien), Tex Atkins (Jaimz Woolvett), Eric Aimes (Daniel Kash), Gunnery Sergeant. 'Gunny' Bailey (Jim Morse), Chicago (Mark Williams) and Top Taylor (Lance Glass Green), is the M16A1.
AK-47
The main weapon of the Vietcong is the AK-47, most likely a Type II model.

M60 Machine Gun
'Jimmy Joe' Coulter (Kenny Johnson) and Sgt. Ray Shepard (Bobby Hosea) carry the M60 Machine Gun for Echo Company. The M60 is also seen mounted on UH-1 'Huey' Iroquois Helicopters.
