To David: That's really interesting info on the Devel. Here's a little more.  I met Mr. Culp at the San Diego Comic-Con, and I tried to ask him about that Devel.  He didn't say anything about that one, but he mentioned that two of the guns he used on that show were his own guns.  He mentioned a hammerless .38 (used in the pilot - probably a S&W Model 42), and also a Colt .38 automatic.  I remember seeing the Colt .38 in the 3rd season. I read an interview with Robert Culp, and he said that when he started the show, he had two custom Devel M39 pistols made. One to use in the show, and one for himself. For some reason, the pistol wasn't used in many episodes. David.
