The Pink Panther is the 1963 comedy that was the first film in the "Pink Panther" movie series and the first to feature Peter Sellers in the role of Inspector Jacques Clouseau. Directed by Blake Edwards, Inspector Clouseau was originally not supposed to be the lead, but the popularity of the character lead to four more films with Sellers as Clouseau and three more in the series. A "reboot" of The Pink Panther starring Steve Martin as Clouseau was released in 2006.
The following firearms were used in the film The Pink Panther:
Beretta Model 70
Inspector Jacques Clouseau (Peter Sellers) pulls what appears to be a gold-plated Beretta Model 70 when he discovers that "The Phantom" might be in the hotel that he is staying at.
