The following guns were used in the film Black Hawk Down

Colt M733

Busch (Richard Tyson) is the first Delta member on screen, and also the first soldier we see carrying a version of the Black Rifle, a Colt Commando M733. All Delta members carry an M733.

M21

The M21 is an accurized semi-automatic 7.62mm NATO M14 rifle that served as the official Army sniper rifle until 1988 before being replaced by the Remington 700 based bolt-action M24. Despite being officially replaced the M21 was fielded in both gulf wars and continues to be fielded by US Army and special forces around the world today.

RPG-7

The Russian manufactured RPG-7 features prominently in Black Hawk Down as it is the weapon which brings down a pair of Black Hawks. In one scene, a projectile from an RPG-7 strikes the driver of one of the deuce and a half trucks in McKnight's convoy and fails to detonate, impaling the luckless soldier instead.

AK-47

There are so many AK-47s in Black Hawk Down I doubt any other film has ever had more on screen. It's safe to assume the rifle you see almost every gunman carry and fire is an AK-47. You'll see AK-47s with and without stocks, with and without foregrips, with and without folding stocks and every permutation in between.

AKS-74U

The Somali militia leader carries an AKS-74U which was specifically designed as a compact personal defense weapon for pilots and tank crews. Despite its small size it still fires the powerful 5.45x39mm cartridge.

M203

We see many U.S. Army Rangers with M203 grenade launchers attached to their M16A2 rifles, the most notable of which is Grimes (Ewan McGregor) who assists Delta in taking out a technical that has them pinned down.

Browning M2
