Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following weapons were used on the television series Psych:
Pistols
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is used by several characters in the series. In Season 2's "Bounty Hunters!", SBPD Det. Juliet O'Hara (Maggie Lawson) appears to have traded in her Glock 19 for a Beretta 92F as her sidearm.
Also used by Mace Rhoden (Roger Haskett) in the episode, "There's something about Mira".
Phil Stubbins (Alan Ruck) uses this weapon in the episode, "Gus walks into a bank".
Garth Longmore's (Michael Rooker) partner (John Hawkes) carries this weapon in the episode "Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark".
Beretta Cheetah
In the episode "Psy vs. Psy" Lindsay Leikin (Bianca Kajlich) pulls a Beretta Cheetah on Shawn after he exposes her as a counterfeiter and murderer.
Colt 1860 Army revolver
In Season 1's "Weekend Warriors" (S1E06), Griffin Mahoney (Peter Michael Goetz) is seen showing off a collection of Civil War memorabilia, which includes several revolvers, including a Colt 1860 Army.
Colt Single Action Army
In the Episode "High Noon-Ish" Hank Mendel (James Brolin) and Stinky Pete Dillingham (Jim Beaver) both use Single Action Army revolvers with 5 1/2 inch barrels and different custom finishes.
Colt M1911A1
In Season 4's "Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark", Shawn (James Roday) is shot in the shoulder with an unknown 1911 model.
Desert Eagle
In Season 3's "Truer Lies" (S3E14), Shawn (James Roday), Gus (Dule Hill), and Lyin' Ryan (Jonathan Silverman) are pursued by assassins, one of whom is armed with a Desert Eagle.
The Desert Eagle is also the sidearm carried by Treasury Department Special Agent Lars Ewing (Lou Diamond Phillips) in the episode "Psy Vs. Psy", an odd weapon for a federal agent to use.
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is the sidearm carried by both Detective Carlton Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) and Detective Juliet O'Hara (Maggie Lawson). Det. O'Hara carries a Glock pisto IWB at the 5 o'clock position. Det. Lassiter carries a Glock 17 pistol as his primary sidearm. He has worn it in various shoulder rigs, even having a quick draw dual from his shoulder holster. In Season 4's "Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark", Shawn Spencer (James Roday) is seen firing Lassiter's Glock while hanging on the hood of a car. Detective Lassiter also is seen dual wielding these in the bar in Season 4's "Shaun Gets the Yips". Most recently he has been using an Alessi Bodyguard. When Timothy Omundson broke his arm in real life, he had to use hip holsters as he had a sling.
Glock 34L
In Season 4's "You Can't Handle This Episode", Juliet's brother Ewan O'Hara (John Cena) carries what appears to be a Glock 34 that he is seen using in a gunbattle as well as holding it on Lt. Wallach (Sean Rogerson) on the pier.
Heckler & Koch VP70
In Season 2's "Bounty Hunters!" (S2E09), Byrd Tatums (Kevin Sorbo) draws a Heckler & Koch VP70 on Shawn and Gus at the police station after they trick him in a prisoner exchange. Shawn takes one off a bad guy and uses it to hold him at bay in "I'd like to thank the academy."
Ruger P89
In the same episode mentioned above a suspect kidnaps Shawn and holds him at gun point in Lassiter's home with a Ruger P89 until Lassiter puts a round in his shoulder with his PPK.
Smith and Wesson Model 29
A Model 29 with rosewood grips and nickel finish is used by Detective Lassitor at the firing range and then used by his temporary partner who did not brace for the recoil and it (unrealistically) fly's out of her hands and smashes into the wall breaking into several parts.
Ruger Blackhawk
Used in .22 Long Rifle by Roger (Jamie McShane) to murder a sea lion in the episode "Six feet Under the sea"
He clearly shot DA, not a blackhawk.
Ruger Super Redhawk mocked up as KAC Silent Revolver
A spy looking for Shawn and Gus's help in "One, maybe two ways out" is seen using this. A KAC spokesperson has said on another forum that no actual KAC silenced Revolvers have been purchased by a armorer and that ones seen are mock ups.
- Though this may be true, I am very skeptical that a KAC rep would know who purchased their guns. I've purchased weapons personally and then transferred them to business inventory. Tons of armory houses have guns which have been purchased used from 2nd and 3rd parties. I've picked up used weapons from Law Enforcement Dealers who picked up entire LOTS of firearms in Department trade deals. How would a Knights Armaments guy know for sure that their weapons have NEVER been acquired by a movie armorer? To make a statement that definitive is a bit arrogant, IMHO. :) MoviePropMaster2008 21:55, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
Smith And Wesson Model 65
In the episode "Thrill seekers and Hell Raisers", Stu's (Bradley Stryker) body is found in a trailer with this gun next to his head, at first they think it was suicide but then they discover that Derek killed him

In the Episode "There Might Be Blood" Ashley (Kelly Overton) uses a Smith & Wesson 3913 "Lady Smith" during her shootout with Lasiter, Juliet, Chief Vick (Kirsten Nelson), and Commander Barbara Dunlap (Jane Lynch).
Walther P99
In the pilot episode, Detective Lucinda (Anne Dudek) uses a Walther P99 at the police shooting range before handing the weapon off to Shawn Spencer (James Roday) who procedes to fire several shots, each hitting adjacent to the Detective's hits.
A chrome version is carried by Pierre Despereaux (Cary Elwes) in "Extradition British Columbia."
Walther PPK/S
In one episode Detective Carlton Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) retrieves a stainless Walther PPK from a bowl of peanuts on his counter to incapacitate an intruder armed with a Ruger P89.
Ewan O'Hara (John Cena) carries one of these in his right combat boot. Lassiter then inquires about it and examines the weapon remarking that it is "a sweet gun."
Also used by Raylene Wilcroft (Anne Marie DeLuise) in the episode "Woman seeking dead husband: Smokers Okay, No Pets"
Shotguns

In Season 2's "Bounty Hunters!" (S2E09), Byrd Tatums (Kevin Sorbo) is armed with a sawed -off Ithaca 37 when he boards the boat that Dwayne Tancana (W. Earl Brown) is on.

Winchester 70
In the episode "Thrill seekers and Hell Raisers" Derek (Steve Howey) used a Winchester Model 70 to murder Brian Sampson.
