The Adventures of Ford Fairlane is a 1990 action comedy featuring the exploits of a Los Angeles private detective who handles cases in the music industry. The film was directed by Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2) and was produced by Joel Silver (Lethal Weapon).

A Beretta 92FS is used by a thug of Julian Grendel (Wayne Newton). Also carried by a security guard at the radio station of shock jock Johnny Crunch (Gilbert Gottfried).

A chrome M1911A1 with pearl grips is used by Smiley (Robert Englund) as he confronts Ford at his burnt out home.
