The following weapons were used in the film Alien:
Custom Flamethrower
The main weapon seen in the film is a custom flamethrower. The flamethrower is seen used by Ripley (Sigourney Weaver), Parker (Yaphet Kotto), and Dallas (Tom Skerritt).
Harpoon Gun
Ripley is seen holding a harpoon gun when confronting the Alien in the escape pod.
Custom Handguns
When investigating the derelict ship, Dallas tells the crew to break out the weapons, which were custom handgun props. Many of the parts for these parts were assembling from existing handgun parts. While not seen being used, they are briefly seen in holsters on the crew's spacesuits.
