L.A. Takedown is a 1989 television crime film written and directed by Michael Mann that was intended to be a pilot for a crime series. Mann would later remake this film as 1995's Heat.
The following weapons were used in the film L.A. Takedown:
Franchi SPAS 15
Det. Bobby Schwartz (Daniel Baldwin) uses a Franchi SPAS-15 during the Wilshire Blvd. shootout. Det. Vincent Hanna (Scott Plank) later uses it.
SIG-Sauer P226
Det. Vincent Hanna (Scott Plank) uses a nickel-plated SIG-Sauer P226 at the beginning of the Wilshire shootout.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
The Heckler & Koch MP5K is the main weapon used by the robbery crew including Patrick McLaren (Alex McArthur), Chris Sheherlis (Peter Dobson), and Michael Cherrito (Vincent Guastaferro) during the Wilshire Blvd. shootout.
