Hombre is the classic 1967 Western starring Paul Newman as John Russell, a white man raised by Apache Indians who now must try to assimilate back into the non-Indian culture. He also must endure prejudice from the fellow passengers he is traveling with. When the stagecoach is ambushed, the passengers must now depend on Russell to survive. The film was directed by Martin Ritt and based on a novel by Elmore Leonard (who also wrote Get Shorty).

When Cicero's (Richard Boone) gang robs the stagecoach, they find what appears to be a Colt Lightning Shopkeeper revolver on Dr. Favor (Fredric March).

Winchester 1892
Members of Cicero's (Richard Boone) gang are seen using the Winchester Model 1892 rifle.
