He later carries it with him in the Australian outback while pursuing Mick and Sue. Rico's HP was earlier identified as a .40, but Crocodile Dundee II was released in 1988 and the .40 S&W did not hit the market until 1990, making it a 9mm by default.

A lever-action rifle used by one of Frank's men while pursuing Mick and Sue.
Pattern 14 Enfield
A sporterized Enfield is used by one of Rico's henchmen while pursuing Mick and Sue. Sue later uses it to shoot Rico's #2. Being in Australia, we can assume it is a Pattern 14 rather than the US 1917 Enfield.
