The following guns appear in the film Gran Torino:
M1 Garand
Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) uses an M1 Garand that he kept from the Korean War to chase Thao Vang Lor (Bee Vang) out of his garage and scare the Hmong gangmembers off his lawn. Walt misfires it when slipping in his garage when he is chasing after Thao.
Colt M1911A1
Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) uses a pre-war commercial M1911A1 (as evidenced by the blue finish) that he kept from the Korean War to aim at the "Spooks" to scare them away from Thao's sister Sue Lor (Ahney Her), and is seen carrying it around in many scenes. Walt carries it around in his belt without a holster.
MAC-10
MAC-10s are used by the Hmong gang members to shoot up the Lor's house during a drive-by.
IMI Uzi
Smokie (Sonny Vue) flashes an IMI Uzi when arguing with the Hispanic gangsters.
Colt Detective Special
A Colt Detective Special is flashed by a Hispanic gang member.
Remington 870
Martin the barber (John Carroll Lynch) jokingly pulls a Remington 870 shotgun on Thao (Bee Vang) when he doesn't properly ask for a haircut as Walt (Clint Eastwood) tries to teach him how.
Colt Python
Spider (Doua Moua) is seen using a Colt Python at the end of the film.
Smith & Wesson Model 640 Centennial
Smokie (Sonny Vue) fires a stainless steel Smith & Wesson Model 640 Centennial at the end of the film.
Unknown Pistols
Many of the Hmong gangsters at the end of the film are seen aiming pistols that are too obscured from the darkness and distance to identify.
Glock 17
Police officers in the film are seen with 2nd Generation Glock 17s in their holsters.
