I think the first revolver pictured in the S&W Model 586 section is a "Smython", a custom job which was combining a python frame with a S&W frame. Although this seems like a pretty random weapon, there are [http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/tanaka-4inch-smython-357-magnum-revolver-steel-finish.html airsoft replicas] of it, which are what the guns from animes are commonly based on.  --[[User:Commando552|commando552]] 13:02, 1 July 2012 (CDT)

I'm not too sure it is a Savage 220F, that's a new production Savage shotgun released recently, where as the anime it's in was released 2004-2005. Frankly the image doesn't seem to match the gun in the anime very closely. Not to mention the thick barrel on the gun indicates it's a large bore rifle, not a shotgun. - Gunmaster45

It might not be a Savage, that was just the only shotgun I could find with the right bolt, rifling and a removable box magazine that wasn't a .410. But it definitely is a shotgun; you can see the spent shotgun shells when they cycle the bolts. I'll see if I can go back and get a better shot from the side, or at least of one of the shells (that's the nice thing about actually owing the DVDs; it makes it so much easier to get new shots).--PistolJunkie 01:40, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

586 revolver

I think the first revolver pictured in the S&W Model 586 section is a "Smython", a custom job which was combining a python frame with a S&W frame. Although this seems like a pretty random weapon, there are airsoft replicas of it, which are what the guns from animes are commonly based on. --commando552 13:02, 1 July 2012 (CDT)
