Breakdown is a 1997 thriller starring Kurt Russell as an ordinary guy who finds himself in the middle of the Arizona desert trying to locate his wife who goes missing after their car breaks down. The film was written and directed by Jonathan Mostow, who went on to direct U-571 and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

The Beretta 92FS is held by Earl (M.C. Gainey) when questioning Jeff Taylor (Kurt Russell).
SIG-Sauer P226
When Jeff goes to the home of Red (J.T. Walsh), he finds a SIG-Sauer P226 in a glove compartment, which he later uses to threaten Red. It's also seen in the hands of Billy (Jack Noseworthy).
Beretta 950 Jetfire
A Beretta 950 Jetfire is seen being pulled by Earl (M.C. Gainey) from his boot.
Smith & Wesson Model 28
Sheriff Boyd (Rex Linn) pulls a Smith & Wesson Model 28 revolver when he pulls Jeff over.
Mossberg 500 "Cruiser"
Earl (M.C. Gainey) is also seen holding a Mossberg 500 "Cruiser" shotgun as Jeff is questioned by Red.
Winchester 1873
The Winchester Model 1873 is used by Red's son when Jeff threatens the family in the kitchen.
