A Sound of Thunder is a 2005 science fiction thriller starring Edward Burns as a scientist who takes clients back in time through a wormhole to hunt dinosaurs. When one of the clients strays off the path, an altered future emerges. The film was directed by Peter Hyams and was based on a Ray Bradbury short story.

Several Apartment residents defending their apartment block can be seen armed with Enfield L86s along with several other firearms.
Remington 870
Sonia Rand (Catherine McCormack) threatens Travis Ryer (Edward Burns) with a Remington 870 fitted with an extended magazine tube, pistolgrip, and surefire foregrip. She then claims that it doesn't work and is an antique(in 2055).
SIG-Sauer P220
Christian Middleton (Corey Johnson) goes crazy and tries to kill the protaganists with a SIG-Sauer P220 (modified with futuristic embellisments) when they question him at his office.
Police Shotgun
A Chicago police officer guarding the apartment entrance is armed with a strange shotgun, possibly a rubber prop.
