"PNGs are a problem because they are huge files. Please make sure your screenshot uploads are JPGs only, lest they be downloaded, converted to JPG and uploaded by someone else. It's all about file size and not overtaxing the servers."  --[[User:Ben41|Ben41]] 03:08, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

== AK-74 Argument ==
No problem. They spread misinformation as fact on the CoD Wiki, claiming "this isn't the real life gun wiki) and often disregard entirely or even ''chastise'' the so-called "gun nerds" who try to put some accuracy into their articles (this AKS-74U/"AK-74U" argument is a prime example). They tell us that "in real life" doesn't matter and that every gun is treated as fictional, so it makes me feel quite satisfied to be able to tell ''them'' when they come here that "in virtual life" doesn't matter and we treat every gun as factual. There needs to be an easily accessible source of ''accurate'' information on the guns appearing in these games and IMFDB is it. [[User:Spartan198|Spartan198]] 05:30, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Read this out-[1], it is against the rules to copy-paste anything from other sites.--SB2296 04:10, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

No PNG's! JPG's only!

Please do not upload your screenshots as PNG's. JPG's only. Please upload your previous PNG's in the correct format because the PNG's will be deleted. --Ben41 23:49, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

In regards to PNG's

Please refer to the Rules, Standards and Principles page, under "Screenshots" where it says:

"PNGs are a problem because they are huge files. Please make sure your screenshot uploads are JPGs only, lest they be downloaded, converted to JPG and uploaded by someone else. It's all about file size and not overtaxing the servers." --Ben41 03:08, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

AK-74 Argument

No problem. They spread misinformation as fact on the CoD Wiki, claiming "this isn't the real life gun wiki) and often disregard entirely or even chastise the so-called "gun nerds" who try to put some accuracy into their articles (this AKS-74U/"AK-74U" argument is a prime example). They tell us that "in real life" doesn't matter and that every gun is treated as fictional, so it makes me feel quite satisfied to be able to tell them when they come here that "in virtual life" doesn't matter and we treat every gun as factual. There needs to be an easily accessible source of accurate information on the guns appearing in these games and IMFDB is it. Spartan198 05:30, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
