It was definitely a Smith & Wesson, but his had a straight backstrap and front cocking serrations. The closest I could find was Smith & Wesson 4006.

The Good Guys (2010-?)

The following weapons are used in the television series The Good Guys:

Taurus PT92

Det. Dan Stark's (Bradley Whitford) sidearm throughout the series is a Taurus PT92. Jack Bailey (Colin Hanks) attempts to dual wield Stark's Taurus along with his Smith & Wesson in the pilot with poor results. Pedro (Andrew Divoff) uses Taurus PT92's akimbo in the pilot with much better results.
