This large frame, 3" barrel revolver was made in Spain by the defunct firm of Astra. It is more commonly found in .44 magnum chambering, although it was also made in .45 Colt and .41 magnum. Blued and stainless versions were available. It can be confused with the Smith & Wesson Model 657
