Chinese soldiers are seen armed with the Norinco Type 56-1 rifle.
Makarov PM
Makarov PM handguns were seen in the hands of Chinese police officers on numerous occasions as well as in the hands of Jack Moore (Richard Gere) who took a Makarov PM from a Chinese assassin and used it in his escape through the suburbs of Beijing to the American Embassy.
SKS carbine
A SKS carbine was seen slung over the shoulder of a Chinese police officer guarding the door of a hotel.
