The following weapons were used in the film Missing In Action:
M16A1
Most of the US soldiers during the Vietnam sequence are seen using the M16A1. Braddock and Tuck (M. Emmet Walsh) also use the M16A1 during the rescue of American POWs.
M203
During the opening sequence, Col. James Braddock (Chuck Norris) uses a M203 system underslung on his M16A1.
M16 SP1
One of the American soldiers is seen armed with an M16 SP1 rifle.
AKM
AKMs are commonly used by PAVN soldiers.
Looks like a Type III AK-47 on the left, Norinco Type 56 on the right. Just my two cents.
Norinco Type 56
NVA/PAVN forces can be seen armed mostly with Norinco Type 56-series rifles, both the standard Type 56 and the folding-stock Type 56-1.
M14 Rifle
In the opening sequence, the M14 Rifle is seen in the hands of US and NVA forces. The M14 is also seen in the hands of PAVN soldiers during the climax.
M60
Col. James Braddock (Chuck Norris) uses the M60 GPMG during the POW rescue mission. He famously is seen rising from the water with the machine gun. It's also seen used by both NVA and US forces throughout the film.
M60D
The M60D is used by doorgunners on UH-1 Iroquois at the beginning and end of the film.
Mk 2 Hand Grenade
Mk2 Hand Grenades are utilized by Col. James Braddock.
81mm Mortar
Both the North Vietnamese and US troops are seen using the 81mm Mortar.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Col. Braddock has a flashback of an American POW being shot by an NVA officer armed with a Smith & Wesson Model 10.
Star Model B
Vietnamese Police officers in Saigon, a Vietnamese assassin in the taxi cab and Vihn(?) use the Star Model B.
Madsen M50
A Vietnamese police officer is seen briefly with a Madsen M50 when Braddock's hotel is surrounded.
M79 Grenade Launcher
A Vietnamese assassin fires an M79 grenade launcher into Braddock's motel room. Braddock also uses an M79 to destroy a guard tower.
Colt Model 653
Vietnamese Assassins who try to kill Braddock in Bangkok are armed withColt Model 653 Assault Rifles.
Browning M2HB
PAVN soldiers man a pair of Browning M2HBs against Col. Braddock.
M9A1 Bazooka
A PAVN soldier utilizes an M9A1 "Bazooka" when the POW convoy is attacked by Col. Braddock.
