Savage rifles are known for exceptional accuarcy at a low price point. They make various hunting, competition and tactical models. The 10/110 (10 is the short action, 110 long) was introduced in 1956 and is availible in the 10/110 (currently name for law enforcement models) 11/111 (hunting models) and 16/116 (stainless barrel). Savage rifles are also able to switch between cetain calibers quite easily with minimal amount of tools, making them versatile and very popular amongst shooters who cannot afford multiple rifles.
