Walther PPK

When Jimmy 'Popeye' Doyle (Gene Hackman) is captured by Alain Charnier's (Fernando Rey) thugs, a police officer tailing Doyle tries to pull out a Walther PPK to fire at the thugs before he is run over.

Colt revolver

One of the French police officers carries a Colt revolver, that looks like a Police Positive Special, although we never seen it close enough to be totally sure.
