For one, the rifle is a 7.62x51mm gun, not a 5.56x45mm gun. That caliber alone makes it closer to the AR-10 than the M16.  :) MoviePropMaster2008 05:40, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

Because this isn't an M16 variant. I mean the HK416 isn't part of the M16 page and it's got the most in common with it Excalibur01 05:28, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
