Police Story is a 1985 Hong Kong action movie directed by and starring Jackie Chan as Detective Chen Ka-kui. Chan would reprise this role in three sequels: Police Story 2, Police Story 3: Supercop, and Police Story 4: First Strike, and would "reboot" the franchise in a more serious tone with 2004's, New Police Story.
