In Shellshock Nam' 67, You play as Pfc. Caleb Walker, A young marine freshly recurited in 1967 and the main protagonist of the game as he tries to survive and track down an insane VC General who killed most of his squad.

Main Pistol of NVA and VC forces in game. Is Refered to as "the Red Star Pistol" in game.
M3A1 "Grease Gun"
An M3A1 Grease Gun is used in level one by the player, Caleb Walker, and used by the ARVN Soldier Monty.
PPSh-41
The PPSh-41 is one of the two main SMGs used by the NVA/VC in game. Carries 71 rounds in its famious drum magazine.

The MAT-49 appears as the second submachine gun used by the NVA/VC Forces. It holds 32 rounds in the magazine, Which means it's the 9mm version and not the Vietnamese 7.62x25mm version, which was way more commom in Indochina at that time.
AK-47
The AK-47 in game is the standard assault rifle of the NVA and VC Forces and is the most commom firearm in the game. It holds 30 rounds.
M16
The M16 rifle appears in game as the "Assault Rifle" in game and is the standard of the US Forces. It incorectly fires 30 rounds from a 20 round magazine.
Mauser Karabiner 98k
The Mauser K98k appears in game with or without a scope. Called the "K98k" or the "K98 Scoped", it's used by VC Soldiers and Snipers. It holds 5 rounds.
M21 Sniper Rifle
The M21 Sniper Rifle is featured in game as the "XM21" and can be found with a Suppressor and Night-Vision Scope. Holds 20 rounds.
M60 Machine Gun
The M60 Machine Gun appears in game as the standard machine gun of the US Army. Carries 100 rounds, but can overheats very easily. An Upgraded Version called the "Death Machine" has a 1,000 backpack magazine and is less prone to overheating.
RPD Light Machine Gun
The RPD Light Machine Gun appears in game as the standard machine gun of the NVA/VC Forces. It, like the M60, holds 100 rounds and can overheat with repeated firing.
Type 24
The Type 24 Heavy Machine Gun, a Chinese copy of the Maxim MG08, is often found in enemy-held locations. It has unlimited ammo, but like the other machine guns in game, it can overheat.
