Blessed by fire (“Iluminados por el fuego” in Spanish), takes place in the Falklands/Malvinas war in 1982. The following weapons were used in the film:
FM Hi-Power
A licensed copy of the FN model made in Argentina, carried by the argentinian officers.
FM PAM
A licensed copy of the M3 “Greasegun”, manufactured in Argentina. Seen on the hands of the recruits during the fall back to Port Stanley.
FMK-3
Seen in the hands of Argentinian guards and soldiers, during the fall back to Port Stanley
FN FAL
Used by Argentinian soldiers, manufactured in FM Argentina under license.
Also seen in documentary videos near the end of the film:
L1A1
Used by British soldiers during the last battle, possibly mocked up Argentinian FALs.
Also seen in documentary videos near the end of the film:
FN MAG
Used by Argentine soldiers during the air raid and the night combat.
Fake Euromissile Milan
A fake Euromissile Milan is used by the British troops during the night combat.
M136 AT-4
Seen near the end of the film. This is an anachronism as the film takes place in 1982, and the AT-4 was adopted in the 90´s by the argentinian armed forces.
