Beretta 92FS
Officer Dennis Peck (Richard Gere) carries a Beretta 92FS as his service sidearm throughout the film. During the ending, Kathleen Avila (Nancy Travis) picks it up and holds it on him.
Colt Python
Peck's partner, Van Stretch (William Baldwin), carries a Colt Python as his service sidearm. Officer Dorian Fletcher (Michael Beach) carries one, dropping it when he is shot.
Ithaca 37
The hitman hired by Peck to kill Van Stretch uses an Ithaca 37.
M16A2
The police honor guard at Van Stretch's funeral perform a rifle volley with their M16A2's.
Uzi
