Nice, but where's the trigger?

This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it.

The following weapons appear in the anime Trigun:

Vash's Weapons

Vash's Revolver

A silver plated double-action, .45 caliber revolver carried by Vash the Stampede. It resembles a Mateba Autorevolver with a longer and heavier barrel but it has a top-break auto-eject reloading. According to Vash the gun was very inaccurate until it was improved by a gunsmith in Episode 3. The reason he keeps the revolver is because it is the catalyst needed to activate his "Angel Arm" weapon. Vash's twin brother Knives carries a black version of the Revolver, and is revealed to have created both weapons. The firearm appears to be styled after the Colt Anaconda and the S&W Model 3 as well as the Mateba.

A large cross-shaped gun carried by priest Nicholas D. Wolfwood. the first version is full of Colt M1911. The second version contains a machine gun in the long section of the "cross" a gun rack containing multiple handguns in one of the short arms of the "cross" and a rocket launcher in the top. Wolfwood used "Punisher" in till his death. Vash takes his gun as an act of honor, and uses it fighting against Knives.

Colt M1911 Pistol - .45 ACP

Nicholas Wolfwood's weapon is not in fact a Colt M1911. It is a fictional weapon called a "Grader Single Hand 2043." According to markings on the weapon, it is a .45ACP handgun, manufactured by a "Grader Arms Co.," based out of July City. A distinguishing feature of this weapon is the secondary, trigger-like lever that forms the front of the trigger-guard. This lever apparently primes the action so that the user can load a magazine with one hand, then cock the pistol without the use of that hand. This is primarily useful if you were intending, like Wolfwood, to dual-wield this pistol; you could place both weapons in one hand, use the other hand to insert two magazines John Woo style, then grip the pistols normally and prime both at the same time. (Nicholas seems to prefer the "carry a whole mess of them at once and just throw them away when they are empty" method, which is bound to get expensive.)
