The following guns were used in the film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button:
M1903A3 Springfield
The M1903A3 Springfield rifles is seen in the hands of American troops during the World War I battle that runs backwards at the beginning of the film. The M1903A3 is annacronistic as A3 variants of the M1903 Springfield were made near World War 2 while this scene takes place in 1918. The older M1903 would be more accurate for that time rather than an M1903A3.
Colt M1911A1
One of Captain Mike (Jared Harris)'s tugboat crewmen is seen holding an M1911A1 pistol during the battle with the U-boat. The one in the movie is fitted with wooden grips.
Browning M2 Water Cooled
The water cooled version of the Browning M2HB machine gun is seen used on the tugboat when Button (Brad Pitt) and the crew engage the German U-boat.
MG42
The MG42 is used by the German U-boat crew when they engage Button's tugboat.
Oerlikon 20mm Cannon
A Oerlikon 20mm Cannon is also seen on the German U-boat.
