Orin Hanner, Sr. (Kris Kristofferson) takes a Smith & Wesson Model 29 from underneath his poker table when Taggart comes to arrest him. Taggart takes it from him and uses it when Hanner pulls another gun.

After Taggart takes the S&W Model 29 away from him, Orin (Kris Kristofferson) pulls a Smith & Wesson Model 15 from his waistband and shoots a federal agent.
