"The grip is quite different" It has combat grips on it, is the reason why. Below is L-frame (Model 586) which the grips will interchange with the K-frame (Model 66). No clue
I just spend one hour browsing the ~2600 gun images, the closest match was the S&W 66 Snub, but I have a few doubts :
- So how fun was that? ;) Actually I'm quite proud of the Gun images IMFDB has. MoviePropMaster2008 19:16, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- The grip is quite different
- There is something below the ejector rod that gives a much more wider profile (see in first picture)
